Visit Morey’s Piers
One of the best vacation attractions on the East Coast is Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Wildwood is historic beach resort community on the New Jersey shoreline that has been welcoming tourists since the 1800′s. It features a distinctive “doo wop” feel to it that harkens back to the 1950′s when it really made its name as a vacation destination. It is still a very fun location and offers many great things to do.
The best and most popular thing to do there though is go to Morey’s Piers. This is the largest oceanfront amusement park in the Western Hemisphere and has grown over the years to become a favorite of those who have traveled there and experienced it.
Morey’s Piers stretches across four different piers that all jut out into the ocean from the boardwalk area of Wildwood. They are filled with great food, sweet treats, fun games, and exciting rides. One of the featured attractions is the Great Wheel, the largest Ferris wheel on the East Coast of America. There are also other rides, including roller coasters, bumper cars, three dimensional experiences, and drops too.
Morey’s Piers features two full water parks on its piers and these are very popular with those who like to get in the water but want to avoid all the sand. The water parks feature plunge pools, drop off slides, corkscrew slides, tube rides, and more.
You should definitely go to Wildwood on your next vacation… the place is simply awesome. And if you go, you simply have to go to Morey’s Piers… there is nothing else like it in the world.
